Last weekend, we joined around 15,000 people at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa for the latest show from Arcade Fire as they launch their Infinite Content tour.  As usual, they put on an amazing show of new material mixed with some of their old classics and they totally rocked an amazing new set design.  Richard Parry later told me that the concept for the central ‘boxing-ring’ stage was inspired by the first Beatles concerts in the USA, with a little bit of techno Blade Runner thrown in for some good, modern measure.  It worked for me! Afterwards, we were the luckiest few that got to skip the defunct aftershow party for a hangout in the band’s private quarters backstage and have some nice chats with old friends turned mega-stars.  Check out their music if you haven’t already!
