Next week, I will be traveling to St. John’s, Newfoundland to speak at the Aldrich Interdisciplinary Conference at Memorial University.  I will be participating in a Panel discussion on Public Speaking as well as closing down the conference with a Keynote talk on the role of Communication as the bridge between Academia and Society.  The themes for this year’s conference are 1) socio-economic impacts of your research, 2) pedagogy and 3) sustainability.  I am looking forward to the conference as well as taking a few more days to visit the wonderful city of St. John’s for my first time.
